Ok take two on the ol’ runnin’.
So the Capitol 10K is coming up once again – just shy of 8 weeks away – how the heck did it sneak up on me like that??
And I have to run it. So, gotta get back into running on the quickity quick.
Since I haven’t been running AT ALL, I needed to find one of those Couch to 5K,10K plans. So I chose this one:
Couch To 10K | Birmingham Track Club
I started it tonight. Went to the local middle school track just now, and ran/walk my first mile.
Here’s my schedule for this week:
Walk 1/2 lap, then jog 1/2 lap, walk a half, jog a half for 1 mile. Now no matter how good you feel, go home.
I am to do this 4-6 times this week… so 3-5 times left.
I’ll try to get this blog a crankin too
